Welcome to FEPHRAD

The FOUNDATION FOR ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION HUMAN RIGHTS AGRICULTURE AND DEVELOPMENT( FEPHRAD) is a non-profit organization founded in 2005 under the Cameroon’s 1990 law on Associations dedicated to creating a just and sustainable world in collaborations with other non governmental organization like, SOWEFCO FEEDAR $ HR, including the Human Right Commission in Cameroon.

Our Story

FEPHRAD was founded in 2014 by Mr. N. RUSSELL B, a passionate individual driven by a deep concern for the well-being of the planet and its inhabitants. Witnessing the devastating impact of environmental degradation, climate change, and human rights abuses on vulnerable populations, Mr. RUSSELL  was inspired to create an organization that would address these interconnected issues in a holistic and sustainable way.

With a strong commitment to community empowerment, environmental protection, agricultural aspects and human rights promotion, FEPHRAD was established to provide a platform for individuals and communities to work together towards a better future. Since its inception, FEPHRAD has worked tirelessly to promote sustainable development, protect the environment, and uphold human rights. Especially Internally displaced children as a result of the ongoing war in the English speaking regions of Cameroon, youth, drug users, teenagers, women and sex workers…as well as in rural and urban areas.

Our Mission

FEPHRAD aims to empower communities and drive positive change worldwide, focusing on human rights, environmental protection, and sustainable development. Through education, advocacy, and support, FEPHRAD champions civic power, climate justice, children's and youth rights, labor rights, and women's rights
We strive to create a world where people can live in harmony with nature, and where everyone has access to equal opportunities and justice.

Our Vision

Our vision is a world where:

- Agricultural development to increase livelihoods

We achieve all this through the following main program areas: Education, Skills development, agribusiness, Sports, Livelihood/Community development, economic empowerment

- Empower Marginalized Communities: Implement programs promoting, protecting, and enhancing human rights by addressing issues like corruption, strengthening legal rights, mitigating climate change.

- Foster Sustainability and Equality: Address environmental challenges, protect vital resources, and promote sustainable practices.

- Promote Education and Advocacy: Empower youth, women, and minority communities through education, advocacy, and mentoring to build inclusive societies.

- Promote Agricultural Practices: Support sustainable agriculture practices that enhance food security, improve livelihoods, and protect the environment.
