WHO WE ARE
Foundation for Environmental Protection, Development and Civic Awareness (FEPDCA) is a community-based development organization committed to promoting environmental protection, sustainable agriculture, civic awareness, human rights education, and inclusive community development.
OUR STORY
Founded in 2023, FEPDCA works with communities, institutions, development partners, and stakeholders to create positive change through awareness, advocacy, capacity building, and practical development initiatives.
With a strong commitment to community empowerment, environmental protection, agricultural aspects and human rights promotion, FEPHRAD was established to provide a platform for individuals and communities to work together towards a better future. Since its inception, FEPHRAD has worked tirelessly to promote sustainable development, protect the environment, and uphold human rights. Especially Internally displaced children as a result of the ongoing war in the English speaking regions of Cameroon, youth, drug users, teenagers, women and sex workers…as well as in rural and urban areas.
OUR HISTORY
Foundation for Environmental Protection, Development and Civic Awareness (FEPDCA) was established in 2023 with the vision of creating a platform that supports communities through environmental protection, sustainable development, civic education, and social empowerment.
The organisation was created from the understanding that many communities face challenges related to environmental degradation, limited awareness of rights and responsibilities, unemployment, and inadequate access to sustainable development opportunities.
Through education, advocacy, partnerships, and community-based initiatives, FEPDCA seeks to contribute to lasting solutions that improve lives and strengthen communities.
FEPDCA believes that sustainable development can only be achieved when communities are empowered, natural resources are protected, and individuals actively participate in building a better future.
